mike myers is great
this weekend has catching up with all my best friends, dancing at goth clubs, sitting on portobello road with homemade mozzarella salads and seeing bands in london. it was tiring, way too hot and fun.
and at some sunburnt time in the early early hours in camden, me and tom talked about how even though goldmember wasn't as good as it could have been, we are still happy to have him in our lives. one time me tom and benji had a mike myers night where we watched both waynes world movies, so i married an axe murderer and austin powers one after another. it made me dizzy but it sure was fun.
six reasons why i love mike myers
1. in waynes world two, when wayne puts on a communist party and says: "when we first had this idea of putting on this shindig we didn't know if anyone would come. but, look, you're all here, pitching in. i promised myself i wouldn't cry....party on!"
2. in goldmember, when austin powers is standing on mini me's shoulders and tells the passing evil henchmen that he's just getting his sea legs.
3. in so i married an axe murderer, when he shouts, "did they mention the wife? did they mention the wife?"
4. in the same film, where the guard at alcatraz says: "my name is john johnson, but you can call me vicky."
5. in the spy who shagged me, when dr. evil's chair is going mental and he shouts "the power of christ compels you! the power of christ compels you!"
6. dr. evil's raps (i especially dug the jay-z prison rap in goldmember).
they are showing "the year that punk broke" down the road for free tonight. yummy.
