was my heart of hawaii whose name is sophie
today i found a record called "hawaiian sophie" by jaz. i don't think i've ever heard a song with my name in it before. i spun it on the turntable and i wanted it so bad but it was £5.
right now, i'm listening to "odelay" by beck, which was just about the soundtrack to my life when i was seventeen. i fell right into this boy because he dug the song "novacaine" as much as me. we threw shapes on the dancefloor to it one friday night, when everyone else was just way too sober to join in. we just rocked out to it all by ourselves.
i sometimes think that without music, i'd forget everything fun that's ever happened to me.
