yesterday i went to the most beautiful graduation ceremony. we collected our certificates and, best of all, i got to kiss richard attenborough. it was a moving and fun day.
last night, i heard a record of hits from the early-nineties. dude! i think the only song i dug on the entire record was "3am eternal" by the klf. hearing it made me realise how fun pop music is right now. people can listen to men in masks making a noise, or pop princesses who dress like lady-men, or bling neptunes sounds. and, right now, chris rea is out of sight.
for example, this morning i saw ja rule on the teevee, singing "livin it up" with no top on. mmm-hmmm. i'm listening to a lot of avril lavinge (whose music is wonderful, despite the fact that she like a lot of other boring folks, doesn't like britney spears. sigh) and a lot of gravy train (who are wild sounding drumnbass sweethearts who have a song called "you made me gay")
