RIP lisa

cat told me the news this morning about lisa 'left eye' lopes's death.
left eye always seemed incredibly feisty and sassy and cool. i liked hearing the story about her burning down her boy's house after she found out he'd cheated on her.
she had such a beautiful voice and so much creative energy. lisa crystal carver wrote about left eye in her book 'dancing queen', writing of her sassiness and sauce. only the coolest ladies impress lisa carver, and left eye was one of them.
her music always made me dance, and i remember how 'no scrubs was just an anthem of mine when it came out. i really dug that song. and i am very sad to hear of her death.
