everyone hates those people who say to you, 'cheer up, it might never happen' when all yr doing is sitting on yr own for a while. if they're saying it to cheer you up, how do they think it'll make you feel any better?
when people say it to her, lucy always replies, 'my parents just fucking died in a car crash'. just to ensure that that person will never say 'cheer up, it might never happen' ever again.
